Tongkat Ali Chips

Tongkat Ali chips can be used in one of two ways. Just like the chopped up root they can be chewed and drawed upon for some time, or they can be used to make a hot-water extract (tea). Powder is often used to make tea, but by using chips you eliminate the chance of residual ground remaining in your beverage, which often happens when using powder. As the chips are finer, they are also easier to chew than the chopped root. Note that Tongkat Ali has a rather bitter taste due to the presence of quassinoids.
