Project Kratom works with village growers across West Borneo, Indonesia. One origin, a short supply chain and a batch number on every pouch.
Fewer hands between the tree and you.
Most kratom sold in Europe changes hands several times before it reaches a shelf. Every step adds time, cost and guesswork about where the leaf actually came from.
We set out to shorten that chain. Our leaf is harvested by village growers across West Borneo, from family plots of a few hundred square metres to plantations spanning hectares. It is cleaned, dried and crushed on site, then ground and vacuum-sealed by our partners. Every pouch carries a batch number you can trace back to its harvest.

Kratom has changed life in many West Borneo villages. Harvests are often a shared effort, with families and neighbours working the trees together, and the crop now supports whole communities.

Four steps, done the same way every time.
Hand-picked
Leaves are picked by hand, often as a whole-village effort.
Sun and greenhouse dried
Cleaned and dried for one to seven days depending on strain and weather, then crushed on site.
Micro-ground
The crushed leaf travels to our partners, where it is ground to a 600 mesh powder, or 700 mesh for our brightest strains.
Sealed and sterilized
Vacuum-sealed straight after grinding, sterilized to food-grade standards and packed in a batch-numbered pouch.
